What propelled me into the Health & Wellness field, aside from growing up playing a variety of sports, was volunteering for the Senior Olympic Games while I was in High School and being curious about aging but more specifically, AGING STRONG. That curiosity drives my passion for learning through continued education courses/certifications and attending annual fitness conferences which keeps me informed on the latest methods that allows me to continue bringing the most value to my clients.
I believe balance in training, as well as lifestyle, is essential. I take pride in helping my clients achieve their goals safely and methodically through individualized programming that is constantly varied while helping implement healthy nutrition and lifestyle practices and holding them accountable. Exercise and Sport has played/plays such a positive role in my life and why I want to help others achieve the same. I love to meet new people, travel and appreciate all of the great experiences that being active has offered.

I received my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Florida with a degree in Psychology and Gerontology. I also received my Master’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Sport Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Throughout my schooling and career, I have over 19 years of training experience with clientele of all ages, ranging from children to active older adults. My philosophy is based off mind and body working together in a positive state to enhance performance on all levels from the inside out.
I maintain certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), National Posture Institute (NPI), Integrative Movement Specialist (IMS), Functional Aging Specialist (FAI) with additional certifications in Active Isolated Stretching, The Mobility Recipe, SCW Sports Nutrition and Body Composition Certified , AFAA Senior Fitness Specialist, ASFA Golf Strength Training Specialist, SPINN Certified and also a Certified Healthy Edge Health & Nutrition Coach.
